Rawls Creek Phase III


Separate sealed bids for the Rawls Creek Park Phase III will be received by the Town of Irmo at 7300 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC, until 2:00 pm local time on Wednesday, March 13 at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read.  The work to be completed as a part of this project consists of providing all required materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the new Rawls Creek Park Phase III located in Irmo, SC that includes new pervious parking, retopped existing asphalt parking, lighted walkways, fencing, irrigation and landscaping, signage, sediment and erosion control; and all related appurtenances.

Copies of Contract Documents may be obtained electronically by payment of $150.00, non-refundable, or by hard copy upon payment of $300.00, non-refundable, for each set at the office of the Engineer, Hybrid Engineering, Inc., 7400 Irmo Drive, Columbia, SC 29212.  No partial sets will be sold.  Shipment will be via 3-day delivery service. Other shipping will be at the purchaser’s additional expense.  Street address must be provided to allow delivery.  Bidders must obtain Contract Documents from the above listed source(s) to be listed as an official Prospective Bidder.  Only those Contract Documents obtained from the source(s) are official.  Bidders that rely on copies of Contract Documents obtained from any other source do so at their own risk.  All written communications with official Prospective bidders will be via e-mail or hardcopy.    Bidders must deposit security with all bids.  Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid.  Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders.  No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor’s Licensing Law (South Carolina Code of Laws as amended on April 1, 1999, Chapter 11, Sections 40-11-10 through 40-11-428).  No bidder may withdraw the bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening and thereof.  The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
